How Fibers work - Part 2
Today, the most commonly used fibers in concrete are steel and polypropylene. There are other materials such as glass (alkali-resistant) and natural materials like cellulose. There are a large variety of fibers used in concrete for the construction industry. Fibers come in different sizes, shapes and materials and there is not one fiber for all uses.
In part 2 of 2 for fibers, the aim is to start with some basic fiber characteristics and how fibers are combined with concrete.
